RAISING & ACCELERATING MSME PERFORMANCE (RAMP)

The Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme is a World Bank–supported Central Sector initiative designed to enhance MSMEs’ access to markets, finance, and technological advancement by addressing critical areas necessary for their growth and long-term sustainability. In Nagaland, the scheme is being implemented by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland, with support from the Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Limited (NIDC). The RAMP initiative aims to enhance the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by enhancing the capacity of 18,000 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and equipping 240 unemployed youth through structured Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs).

As the implementing agencies for the Capacity Building component under the RAMP Scheme in Nagaland, Edu Northeast Pvt. Ltd. and Schoolnet India Ltd. aim to develop a resilient and skilled MSME community with a focus on fostering local entrepreneurship, promoting innovation and quality, and enabling MSMEs to act as catalysts for economic growth. Through targeted training and knowledge enhancement, the initiative seeks to support MSMEs in creating sustainable employment opportunities and elevating products originating from Nagaland.
